Journal of China Medical Devices aims to emphasize the technicality and internationalization, increase interactivity and the amount of information, with appropriate combination of original comments. Follows are our columns and content requirements in detail:

1. INVITED PAPER: Written by the well-known experts,the papers are dissertations with perspectiveness,guidance quality and authority.
2. RESEARCH WORK: The papers are articles through experimental research of pratice with innovation,practicability and scientificity,which report the innovative findings of biomedical engineering and medical equipment,and put forward new inventions,new methods,mew technologies and new theories.

3. DIGITALIZED HOSPITAL : Report the innovation and experience of computer hardware and software used in medical modernization, such as HIS, RIS, PACS, LIS and digital medical equipment technology and application development experience articles. Articles should be the writers’ actual work experience with innovation rather than a general description or “comprehensive” summary of the work.

4. PRINCIPLE & OPERATION OF INSTRUMENT: Mainly report the constitutive principle,working performance,application range and characteristic of advanced novel medical equipment. In addition, there are some advices and actual experiences of operating medical equipment. Articles should be innovative and practical.

5. QUALITY CONTROL MEASUREMENT: Report the quality control,measurement technique and their methods,management,problems of various medical equipment,also report the statistics,investigation and analysis of medical adverse events caused by medical equipment failure.
6. SCIENTIFIC MANAGEMENT:Report management technologies and methods of medical equipment and consumables of different hospitals, such as purchasing,selection,installation,testing, implementation efficiency, application analysis or economic benefit analysis and abandon treatment.

7. CLINICAL ENGINEERING: This is a new discipline of engineering theory and technology integrated in medical diagnosis and treatment.For instances:articles about medical equipment refit,medical technology innovation or little invention etc.

8. IN GENERAL: Articles which don’t fit other columns will be allocated to this column.For example:general review,medical engineering education and profession training,discipline development etc.

9. EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE: This is the first section we set up, greatly welcomed by colleagues. Mainly publishes the main hospital events with a variety of medical equipment maintenance.

10. CLINICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY: Mainly reports the basic principles, performance, quality assurance, functional development, clinical applications, new technologies introduction of various medical imaging equipment.

11. CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS & TREATMENT: Written by clinicians using medical equipment for diagnosis and treatment, this column can be clinical cases or general progress.

12. FEATURES: Analysis and comment on popular topics organized by experts.

13. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION: To provide hospital purchasing staff guidance and reference. this column makes comparison of the medical equipment performance parameters. It could be the same function with horizontal comparison of different brands equipment, also be vertical comparison of a certain brand of equipment , or detailed introduction of certain device.

14. GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE: Introduction and report of foreign advanced clinical engineering management theory and practical experience, laws and regulations, or international large-scale academic conferences and exhibitions

15. VIEWS & COMMENTS: Medical engineers and clinicians, hospital managers, enterprises share their particular ideas on the popular subject in medical equipment field.

16. NEWSCLIPS: industry meetings, exhibitions, business activities, classification of the monthly inventory in medical and health field with important current affairs (policies and regulations, clinical)
